Each poster comes with a matching Certificate of Authenticity, bearing
the same number as the poster. The certificates themselves are printed
on security-encoded paper, with a special watermark and UV threads
embedded into them.
Affixed to each matching pair (certificate and poster) is a holographic
seal bearing a unique code which further ensures the authenticity of
the reproduction. These codes are recorded during the manufacturing
process and records are kept both in Australia and overseas (at the Hahnemuhle factory), to enable
verification of authenticity if necessary.
The Certificate of Authenticity also attests to the fact that these
reproductions have been authorized by Qantas, that the printer and
distributor are officially licensed, and that the artist has approved
the manufacturing process.
